Grant Funding:
Mandate: Research grant funding opportunities for our various projects and assist in the securing of those grants.

Fundraising:
Mandate: Help develop our overall fundraising strategy and help us raise the funds needed for our projects.

Park Centennial Celebration:
Mandate: Work with Glacier National Park Centennial Program to develop events and other activities in Columbia Falls related to the 2010 Park Centennial Celebration.

Glacier Discovery Square Committees:

Design/Layout:
Mandate: Help guide the design process for the overall facility.

 Outdoor Spaces:
Mandate: Develop ideas for the best uses of the outdoor spaces at the Square, and propose modifications/improvements to the site to accommodate these uses.

 Community Spaces:
Mandate: Develop ideas for the best uses of the community meeting spaces in the facility, and propose modifications/improvements to the building to accommodate these uses.

 Marketing:
Mandate: Help develop an overall marketing strategy for the project (for fundraising), and assist in the creation of marketing materials, etc.

 Legacy Archive:
Mandate: Develop the local heritage archive project, to be housed at the CF Library at Discovery Square. Includes developing plans for the digital archive project and other aspects of the overall heritage project.

 Gateway to the Wild Trails Committees:

River Stroll Trail Project:
Mandate: Build a trail from the Red Bridge north to the Cedar Pointe subdivision at South Nucleus.

Rebirth of the Bridge:
Mandate: Explore the feasibility of preserving the Red Bridge and turning it into a pedestrian crossing.

Historic Uptown Neighborhood Committees:

 Tree City, USA program:
Mandate: Support the program in CFalls to plant new trees and increase the urban forest. Plan and put on the annual Arbor Day Festival in May.

Uptown Neighborhood Long-Range Plan:
Mandate: Work to establish a long-range plan for the Uptown Core, including design guidelines, streetscape improvements, parking plan, and others.

Beautification Projects:
Mandate: Seek ways to improve the streetscapes in Columbia Falls, through plantings, pedestrian amenities, and other improvements.

Farmer’s Market:
Mandate: Assist this year’s Farmer’s Market and plan and put on next year’s market.
