Doug Shanks came to Montana from Minnesota in 1975 and went to work for Western Building Center.
He found his home with WBC and in the last 33 years has held nearly every position at the company. He is now the General Manager of the company, overseeing all of their operations throughout the Flathead.
Doug and his wife have two children and two grandchildren.
They live the Northwest Montana dream of hiking, biking, touring Glacier Park, and enjoying the close connection to the outdoors.
