The CF Farmer's Market is one more example of how our community is experiencing a surge of excitement, of enthusiasm, of pride

Market Magnificence:

Tonight is the fourth Columbia Falls Farmer’s Market for 2009 at Glacier Discovery Square. If the first three are any indication, it will be another busy busy night in Uptown Columbia Falls. It has been a phenomenal Market so far this year. If you haven’t been to the Market yet, I suggest you not miss it, because it is truly the event of the season in our dear town.

Numbers:
Here is some perspective on how the Market is stacking up so far.

450: Each Thursday Market has drawn crowds of between 350-450 people to enjoy the music, the tasty food, and the great stuff on offer for sale.

60+: We are up to more than 60 vendors offering a cornucopia of delights: Handcrafted jewelry, crafts, art, tasty jams, jellies, breads, sculpture, art, plants, cut flowers, produce, and a great variety of dinner and snack choices.

2: Market now features TWO stages of music. Also, there are TWO massage chairs for professional massages while you listen to the great music.

$5,000.00: As much as $5,000 worth of merchandise has been sold in EACH of the last three markets, going to local small vendors. Our own little bit of economic stimulus. And with all those folks coming to our Uptown, many drifting over to our other businesses and patronizing them as well, most Nucleus businesses are staying open late on Thursday evening.

14: 14 of our generous local businesses have agreed to sponsor the Markets. One more sign of how this community comes together to make great things happen. Thanks tonight to Glacier Bank for sponsoring this week’s Market.

What it means:

The Farmer’s Market is about Columbia Falls and its renaissance. Our community is flourishing, and all you have to do is show up on a Thursday night from 5-7:30 to witness it.

Tonight:
Music tonight at the Market is steel-string guitar master and talented entertainer Jay DiPola on the Main Stage and super talented Kelly West on the North Stage.

Laff-It-Up Inflatables will be on hand with fun bouncers for the kids, and the food offerings should be PLENTIFUL.

Immediately after the Market, at 8pm, the music continues in Marantette Park. The Lions Club Annual Summer Concerts – tonight the Nutcracker Trio and Penni & David – fabulous jazz keyboard stylings.

Looks like your evening is all planned out for you!!
