Confessions of a Citizen Scientist

Chris Peterson Slideshow and Lecture

We are presenting an evening of vivid photography and storytelling by Chris Peterson. Peterson is a photographer and reporter for the Pulitzer Prize winning weekly, the Hungry Horse News in Columbia Falls, and is also the editor of Glacier Park Magazine (www.glacierparkmagazine.com ). He has spent the last 11 years exploring the far reaches of Glacier National Park and the surrounding wilderness, creating a stunning portfolio of images of animals, plantlife, and scenery.

Here is a glimpse of the show from the presenter:

He ended up with a crippling knee infection, hiked 12 miles in his underwear, was mistaken for a grizzly bear and yes, he gathered his fair share of pika poop. Join photographer Chris Peterson of Glacier Park Magazine for his photo show “Confessions of a Citizen Scientist” as he takes a light hearted look as an amateur biologist in Glacier. This show includes loons, mountain goats pikas, river otters and other cool creatures he met along the way.
